Goodbye Tokyo

All good things must come to an end.

And so has my 8 months in Japan.

Many things were consumed, many things were seen.  The journey stretched from the temple floating on water in Miyajima, Tenruji temple in the pouring monsoon rain, a frisbee tournament in Ebashi, Takeyama in the snow, hanabi by the river side, matsuri in Asakusa, sunrise on Mt. Fuji, karoke in Shibuya at 2am, ramen in Tsukiji at 5am, tempura on the 50th floor, drinks overlooking the city on the 40th floor, diving clear blue water in Okinawa, skiing the Olympic slalom course in Shiga kogen…

Random friends gained.

And lets not forget the food of course!

First day in Tokyo – an overcast day with rain, fresh and ready to start my adventure.

Last day in Tokyo – an overcast day with rain, but weighed down with many memories.

Goodbye Tokyo!  See you again soon!
